| We
are situated in one of the most attractive and unspoilt
parts of the New Forest. Ponies, donkeys and cattle
wander freely through the village and graze contentedly
on the village green. Within easy assess you can
explore some of the most magnificent forest scenery.
With over 90,000 acres of woodland and heath, the
New Forest is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The Royal Oak is a traditional
New Forest village pub where everyone is welcome.
Original oak floors and exposed timbers create the
perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy the range of
fine wines, ales and fabulous home cooked fayre
on offer.
Our large well furnished Beer
Garden is the perfect place to relax over
a refreshing drink after an invigorating walk through
the unique and picturesque scenery of the New Forest.
Children are well catered for with
a well equipped and secure play area.
Our varied and excellent menu
includes grills, fresh fish and seasonal dishes.
Alongside the traditional favourites, our chef prepares
a good choice of daily specials. See
our food page for more details and sample menus.
We are very proud of our extensive
range of draught lagers, cider and beers. We complement
our range of well known brands with an ever changing
supply of Guest Beers usually from small
local independent breweries.
For
more details view our drinks page.
We have a private function room,
ample parking and year-round
entertainments including summer barbecues, live
music and skittle nights. | |
